Hamlet Learning Center is a 5000 square foot childcare, child development facility located in Woonsocket, RI. Within HLC your child will be educated along with their peers in an environment of large, open, bright classrooms with areas for learning, playing & nap time. Outside, your child will discover a large play area complete with sandbox, jungle-gym & swings along with a basketball court. Credentials     •     Philosophy     •     Objectives     •     Enrollment Hamlet Learning Center is a licensed facility for children ages three to ten. Therefore, any child who will be ten years of age or older by December 31 will not be enrolled for the new school year. Furthermore, any child who will be ten years of age or older by June 1 will not be enrolled for the summer program. Preschool Education Preschool 9:00-12:00 Extended Preschool 9:00-300 Day Care Full or part-time childcare and preschool options are available for children ages three, four and five. These programs serve children with an educational preschool program geared to preparing children for successful entry into Kindergarten. Day care is provided for children during all operational hours. All children attending HLC for extended preschool and day care between the hours of 9:00 and 12:00 are included in the preschool’s educational program. School Age Programs Before School Care 6:30-8:30 AM After School Care 3:00-5:30 PM Before and After School Care Kindergarten Enrichment These programs are available to children attending school between the ages of 5 and ten, including full kindergartens. Summer Day Camp During the summer months, HLC provides full and part time day care as previously outlined. School Holidays and Vacations All children enrolled at Hamlet Learning Center are eligible to attend the center during out of school hours such as school holidays, professional days, and vacations.
