Hamlet Learning Center is a 5000 square foot childcare, child development facility located in Woonsocket, RI. Within HLC your child will be educated along with their peers in an environment of large, open, bright classrooms with areas for learning, playing & nap time. Outside, your child will discover a large play area complete with sandbox, jungle-gym & swings along with a basketball court.

In 2003, Hamlet Learning Center (HLC) celebrated its Silver Anniversary. HLC was founded in 1978 in recognition of the need for high quality Early Childhood Education Programs and has been licensed by the Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) since its inception and by the Department of Education for its preschool curricula. HLC began providing school age care in response to the growing need of families in the community. HLC is a privately owned company devoted to providing professional childcare.

Currently, HLC is an affiliate of the Early Childhood Community Partnerships in conjunction with the Woonsocket School Department and other community agencies.
Hamlet Learning Center, Inc. is licensed by the State of Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth & Families to serve children from three to ten years of age and the Department of Education for our educational curricula. HLC’s licenses are posted in the main hallway of the Hamlet Avenue facility. Laws and rules governing child day care are available for your review upon request.
